To fix the invalid picture error for BMP and JPG files in the "CubeTheSphere" program, switching around the tags might not be enough. Ensure that the files you are trying to open are valid BMP or JPG files and are not corrupted. If the issue persists, you could try reinstalling the program or updating it to the latest version. Additionally, check if your computer has the necessary codecs for handling BMP and JPG files.
I downloaded it but I have some .exe files and I can't open them.

The software doesn't support the Mac OSX operating system. You will have to use an emulator to get the application running in OSX. Luckily, there are applications you can use for this operation.
For example, Wine Bottler is the right example for this procedure. Download it on your Mac and install it, then follow its instructions to load the CubeTheSphere. The CubeTheSphere is available for download from the application's page at Software Informer.
Extracted files cannot be opened due to them being "empty".

I downloaded the CubeTheSphere software and tried to load a file, but I received the same error, which means that my file was either corrupted or didn't have any compatible elements as well. Double check the files that you load into the software, because they might not be compatible.
Another reason for files being empty is corruption. The files might be corrupted and CubeTheSphere can't read them properly and they're displayed as being empty.
When I ran the installer, it showed a box on my screen that said the usual "Change Directory" and "Exit Setup", but it didn't show any install or continue option. I have tried changing the directory but nothing changes.

No, clicking on "cubethesphere.cam" and then "cubethesphere.exe" should open the program. It seems like there may be an issue with the installation or file structure. It is recommended to reach out to the program's support or check their documentation for troubleshooting steps.
I can't download every time I press the button to download in the installer it says an error has occurred.
